Let us bring Peay to you. We offer private tastings and receptions in homes, offices, and outdoor spaces throughout the year. We’ll bring the wines, including current releases and selections from our library, and share the stories of our vineyard, our family, and more than 20 years of making wine on the far West Sonoma Coast.

Whether gathering a few friends around the table or hosting a larger group, it’s a relaxed, personal way to experience Peay without making the trek to us.

Wine can be transportive but nothing beats putting your feet where it is actually grown and made. Throw in a plate of cheese and salumi served in a beautiful environment and sometimes we make lifelong friends.

As a small, family-owned winery, we welcome Friends of Peay members for visits by appointment throughout the year. As we frequently travel to visit our members and host events, availability may vary.

WINERY TASTING
Just 15 minutes north of Healdsburg, our winery in Cloverdale is where all Peay wines are made. Visits offer a behind-the-scenes look at our working winery, beginning with a private tour before heading underground to our subterranean barrel hall to taste among the barrels.

We offer two tasting experiences, both highlighting wines from our Estate Vineyard on the far West Sonoma Coast.

Current Release Tasting ($50/pp) explores the breadth of our current wines and the different expressions of the Peay Estate Vineyard.

Library Select Tasting ($75/pp) digs a little deeper, pairing current releases with older vintages from our 20+ year library to explore how Peay wines develop with time.

The barrel hall stays cool year-round, so we recommend comfortable shoes and a light jacket.

ESTATE VINEYARD TASTING
Our Estate Vineyard in Annapolis, just 20 minutes from Sea Ranch and 1.5 hours from Healdsburg, is where Peay begins. The remote location, cool coastal climate, and 53 acres of organically farmed vines are at the heart of the wines we make.

Your visit begins with a walk through the vineyard and a look at how we farm this unique site on the far West Sonoma Coast. Afterward, settle in for a tasting of current releases and select library wines, accompanied by cheese and charcuterie. The Estate Vineyard Tasting ($100/pp) allows you to experience Peay in the place that defines our wines, taste through different vintages, and better understand how this remote coastal vineyard shows itself in the glass.

The vineyard is rugged and remote, so we recommend comfortable shoes and layers. And yes, it is worth the trek. *Availability varies due to our small team
